- A driving school simulator, also known as a car driving simulator or driver training simulator, replaces part of the training in a real car. Students drive in virtual traffic and practise pulling away, navigation-guided driving, crossing intersections, overtaking and lane changes. - How many lesson hours does a car driving simulator replace?
- With the AUTOM TR4 you can replace up to 10 driving lesson hours per licence B student, with the TR3 up to 6 hours. The TR3 is approved as a group 3 simulator and the TR4 as a group 4 simulator under Czech Act 247/2000 Coll.
- What is the difference between the AUTOM TR3 and TR4?
- The TR3 is a dependable foundation for every driving school: a 2D image on an ultra-wide LCD, a panoramic view from the vehicle and an integrated traffic scoring system. The TR4 has everything in the TR3 plus a motion platform and VR headset support. Both simulators are configurable to your driving school's requirements.
- How much does a driving school simulator cost?
- The indicative price is CZK 280,000 for the AUTOM TR3 and CZK 400,000 for the AUTOM TR4, excluding VAT. The exact price follows the configuration. The software is included in the price, works without an internet connection and carries no monthly fees. The optional PLUS licence is free for the first 12 months.
- Are you also building a motorcycle or tractor simulator?
- Yes. The motorcycle simulator is in pre-sale: we will start selling it in 2027 at the earliest, and pre-orders are open now. We will announce the AUTOM tractor simulator in early December 2026.
